YBNL signee, Fireboy unveiled the 14-track album on Friday the 5th of August 2022. “Playboy” includes his viral hit singles “Peru” and “Peru remix” featuring Ed Sheeran.
The album also includes features by Asake, Chris Brown and Shensea.
Recall that in July, Fireboy revealed the album’s cover, release date, and pre-save link in a post on Twitter.
He wrote “my third studio album, “playboy”, – out on the 5th of August. available for pre-save now.”
“Playboy” follows Fireboy’s 2020 album “Apollo” and his 2019 debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.”

In July, he made history as the first afrobeat performer at the 2022 BET Awards with a live rendition of “Playboy.”
In February, the singer reached 300million+ streams on Audiomack and was presented with a plaque for this feat.
His debut album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps ramped up 153 million streams, and his sophomore album Apollo also gathered 154 million plays on Audiomack. The rest of the streams were generated by his singles.
